The Church of All Saints in Nash is host to a Music in Quiet Places concert at 7.30pm on Saturday, May 14.
Music in Quiet Places is an annual programme of classical concerts in rural communities across the district, devised by musical director Robert Secret. Tomorrow’s concert will be given by The Metzger Ensemble – Lisa Nelsen on flute, Julian Metzger on cello, Robert Secret on viola and their new violinist Tamaki Higashi.
The concert includes music by Viotti, Crusell and Mozart’s Divertimento in E flat for String Trio.
There will be a village walk from the Whaddon Road/Stratford Road junction at 6.30pm led by the Rev John King. Tickets are £12, or £10 for concessions, and will be available on the door.
