Flood warnings have been issued for parts of Brackley by the Environment Agency this morning, Friday.
The warning affects east and west Brackley including St James Road, Oxford Road, Reynard Park, Mill Lane, Shires Road and Boundary Road.
There is also a flood warning for Buckingham, from Brackley Road to Bourton Park, including Chandos Road, Victoria Row and Cornwalls Meadow.
The Environment Agency advises that water levels in the upper reaches of the River Great Ouse are high and rising following last night’s heavy rainfall.
Further significant rainfall is forecast for early Saturday morning and the agency will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates.
There is also a flood alert for the Upper Ouse in Buckinghamshire and the River Tove, in Northants and a flood alert for Langford and Wendlebury Brooks and their tributaries from Stratton Audley down to the M40 near Merton, including Bicester and Wendlebury, although no property flooding is expected.
