Collision witnesses sought after death of man, 79

The family of a man who died after a road traffic collision on Tuesday have released a tribute.

Peter White, aged 79, from the Winslow area, died following a collision at about 4.50pm outside Bacon House Farm, Warren Road, near Little Horwood .

Mr White was driving a blue Peugeot 106 when it was in collision with a red Royal Mail Iveco delivery van.

Mr White was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital, and died on Wednesday.

His family said: “Our father and grandfather, Peter White, was involved in a collision on Warren Road near Little Horwood on Tuesday, April 2.

“He was driving home after dropping a birthday card off to one of his family in Milton Keynes.

“Peter was a very kind man who lived for his family.

“He was suddenly and tragically taken away from us, leaving two daughters, Janet and Tracey, and a granddaughter, Chelsey.

“Peter will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

“The family are asking that if anybody witnessed the collision or has any information that may assist the investigation to contact Thames Valley Police.”
