Lighting up the sky with fireworks

Fireworks will be lighting up the skies all over the region on Saturday, November 3.

> The 5th Brackley Scouts’ firework display is on the St John’s site, Brackley.

Gates open at 6pm, firework display at 7.30pm. There will be a pig roast and burgers.

Entrance £5 adults, £2 children.

> The Lions Club of Winslow’s annual firework display is in Winslow Hall Paddock, with entry via the rear of Winslow Public Hall.

Gates open at 6pm, bonfire lighting at 6.40pm, fireworks satrt at 7pm.Hot dogs and drinks available. Adults £5, children £2, under-fives free.

Suitable material for the bonfire welcomed from 10am to 1pm.

> Entry is free to the Buckingham bonfire and fireworks at Bourton Park, Buckingham.

There will be a special appearance by the Sealed Knot and a barbecue from 6pm onwards, with the firework display at 7pm, followed by the lighting of the bonfire soon afterwards.

Charity collection buckets will be at the entrances to the park.

> Bicester Round Table Charity Fireworks is on Pingle Field, Bicester, with parking at Bicester Village.

Gates open at 6pm, bonfire at 7pm, fireworks at 7.30pm.

Tickets £4, under-fives free.

Tickets from O’Gormans, Sheep Street, or Spektacle Solutions, Granville Way.

> Enjoy the spectacular Greatworth Fireworks display and bonfire at Hobwell Field, behind Greatworth Church.

Gates open at 5.30pm, the bonfire will be lit at 5.45pm and the fireworks are at 7pm.

There will be a barbecue, mulled wine and glowsticks.

Family ticket £12.50, adults £5, children and OAPs £3, pre-school free.

> Towcester’s Fireworks Spectacular is the following weekend, on Friday, November 9,staged by Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School. Tickets will be available from the school office from Monday, November 5.
