YOUTH COUNCIL GRANTS: Vision Youth Cafe, in Towcester, and Brackley Performing Arts Company are among several organisations to receive a boost from grants awarded by South Northants Youth Council.
Sixteen applications were made for grants and following a Dragon’s Den-style contest, six candidates were selected including: Vision Youth Cafe, £750, to run weekly sexual health drop-ins; Tove Valley Baptist Fellowship, £720, for mini-bus hire; 1st Yardley Gobion Scouts, £750, for tents; Brackley Performing Arts Company, £750, to help it launch.
