STUDENTS and staff from Bicester’s Cooper School raised more than £1,000 as they ran the Sport Relief Mile on Friday, March 29.
Well over a thousand young people completed the course, with everyone enjoying and rising to the occasion.
Rafael Garcia-Krailing from Year 11 led home the male students and Lauren Page from Year 8 was the first female student to finish.
The run was the first of a series of events planned at The Cooper School in the build-up to the London 2012 Olympics.
Proceeds will help UK and overseas charities. Young carers and street children are among those who benefit.
