Proceeds from the latest Bob Hart Memorial Concert have been donated to a group supporting people with Downs Syndrome.
A presentation was made at a recent rehearsal of the Great Horwood Silver Band, when members welcomed president Len Goodwin, and Sarah Long, representing the North Bucks Downs Syndrome Group, with her daughter Niamh and son Leo.
Also present were members of Bob’s family - Tony and Lee Hart, Sue Hotard, David and Diane Edmondson with sons William and Robert and Robert’s wife Kelly with their daughter Ruby.
This special occasion held on Wednesday, June 29, was a presentation of a cheque for £450, the proceeds from the memorial concert.
Bob was a valued member of the Great Horwood Silver Band for more than 60 years and his family requested that proceeds from the memorial concert should go to the North Bucks Downs Syndrome Group.
