Young dancers from a local dance school will entertain their biggest audience ever, when they dance on stage at Disneyland Paris.

Following on from auditions last year, the Just Dance Comany has won the chance to perform at the famous theme park this summer.

Principals Katie Roberts and Jeanette Read are delighted that 58 of their dance students, aged seven to 16, will have the experience of performing in front of a huge audience from all over the world.

Now the school, which runs classes in Buckingham and Bicester, is aiming to raise as £7,000 to ensure the children look fabulous in their dance costumes.

Teachers, parents and pupils have already taken part in a sponsored static bike ride covering the miles from Bicester to Paris, as well as cake sales in school and workplaces, a secondhand book sale, a weekly raffle at the Brunch Bar in Bicester and a takeaway night in conjunction with Wah Hong Chinese.

For its latest fundraiser, the company is hosting a craft and gift fair at its dance hall behind Bicester Football Club from 11am to 3pm on Sunday.

More than 15 stalls will be showcasing products, including jewellery, home accessories, jams and preserves and personalised pictures.

For the children there will be a bouncy castle (weather permitting), temporary tattoos/facepaints, name the teddy, a book stall and a raffle.

Homemade cakes and refreshments will be on sale.

Local businesses have donated raffle prizes and Millie Miles Event Hire, in Weston-on-the-Green, has lent trestle tables for the event.
