Well Street United Church is hoping to reach out to new residents of Buckingham after finding a new venue for its Sunday services.
The church has held services at Lace Hill Academy for the past three weeks, and this Sunday the church is holding a special Welcome Service, at 10.30am.
Everyone is invited, particularly those living on Lace Hill.
The church previously held its services at the Royal Latin School, after the congregation grew too large for its Well Street premises.
Minister of Well Street Church, Tim Edworthy, said: “We are delighted with our new Sunday home at Lace Hill Academy. We aim to be a church in the community for the community of Lace Hill.
“We are also planning to run an Alpha Course on the estate after Easter for all who want to find out more about the Christian faith.
“We look forward to getting to know the people, whilst continuing our work in the rest of Buckingham and beyond. Perhaps you are looking for a church? Perhaps you’ve never tried church but would like to.
“Whoever you are, you will be given a warm welcome.
“Services last about an hour and are a mixture of lively singing, with our own band, and time for prayer, readings and a message.
“There is a Sunday School and creche facilities so all ages are catered for, and you are welcome to stay after for a chat and refreshments.”
