Customers and staff at the Willen Hospice Furniture Shop celebrated their continued partnership with the town with cake.
The store in Meadow Walk, Buckingham, was due to close this month. But on Saturday it celebrated the fact that it is staying open, after successful negotiations with the landlords. Hospice spokesman Lynn Reeves said: “We were delighted with the response at our event on Saturday and it was fantastic to see regular and new customers joining us for our celebrations. Being a part of the retail community in Buckingham is very important to us and we look forward to enjoying the continued support of local shoppers.”
