Police are appealing for witnesses after a group of men allegedly fought with weapons in a residential street in Bicester yesterday afternoon.
Seven men have been arrested following the incident in Lyneham Road, which was reported shortly before 6pm.
Police said three of the men were arrested nearby, while the others drove off in a silver Ford Focus saloon and were arrested later.
Two men aged 20, two men aged 19, and three men aged 18 have been arrested. All are in police custody.
Acting Detective Inspector Steven Raffield said: “This is an isolated incident and I would like to urge anyone who has any information in relation to this violent disorder or witnessed the incident to come forward and contact us soon as possible.
“I would like to reassure local residents that the Cherwell district is a safe place and we will continue to do all that we can to ensure it remains this way.
“There will be extra patrols in the local area, please feel free to approach your local neighbourhood team if you have any concerns.”
