Police appeal after man is bitten by a dog in Bicester

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a man was bitten by a dog in Bicester.

Between 6.30am and 6.40am on Tuesday, June 4, the 26-year-old victim was walking along the path between Old Place Yard and Pingle Drive, when he was bitten by a ginger coloured Jack Russell sized dog.

A man who was with the dog had three other dogs, of the same colour and breed. He left the scene without helping the injured man.

The victim sustained two small cuts to his left leg and slight bruising.

The man was white, in his early fifties, about 5ft 7ins and overweight in build. He was clean-shaven with grey hair. He was wearing a grey farmer style flat cap, a long sleeved yellow high visibility jacket and blue jeans.
