Readers only have a few days left to vote for Buckingham Rotary Club’s Citizen of the Year.
The club has teamed up with the Advertiser and Review in a bid to find someone who has done the most for their community in the MK18 area. Readers were asked to submit their nominations.
Last week we unveiled the three nominees who are:
> Nigel Bowerman, who has swept the streets of Buckingham for the past 34 years;
> Lesley Smith, producer of the Buckingham Community Pantomime since 1984 who has been nominated for her hard work and without whom ‘the show would not go on’;
>Judith Bundock, the former senior volunteer administrator at SS Peter and Paul who has given ‘so much of her time and energy to the church, everyone she is in contact with and the community of Buckingham’.
You have until midnight on Sunday, May 26, to cast your vote.
To vote you can email rotary@steveheywood.co.uk, post it to the Advertiser and Review, 61-62 Well Street, Buckingham, MK18 1EN or drop it into our office.
The winner will be announced in the June 14 edition of the paper and will receive a shield during the town’s Civic Day on June 22.
